Still Life Taxidermy is a full-service taxidermy experience. Owner/Operator, Todd Nelson, received special training in taxidermy art at the Northeast Michigan School of Wildlife Art. He is federal and state licensed. Our quality workmanship includes:

In House Tanning - All trophies are tanned on the premises using a wet tan approach rather than dry preserve.

Competition Grade Materials - All trophies are mounted using top of the line forms, eyes, mouths, etc. Turkeys are mounted with freeze dried heads rather than plastic.

Customer Care - We understand how important your trophy is to you and how anxious you are to have your trophy mounted. Taxidermy work is a true art form and takes time when done the right way. Post cards and emails are sent to all customers notifying the status of their trophies throughout the process of the mount. From prepping to detailing, customers know the status of their trophies. In addition, customers can even check the status of their mounts right here on this website! Try getting that with another taxidermist!
